Are these Chalice corals UK-sourced and healthy when I receive them?

Yes, all our Chalice corals for sale are aquacultured right here in the UK. We take great care to ensure they are healthy and thriving before shipping. Each frag is carefully packed to arrive in the best possible condition for your reef tank.

What kind of lighting and water flow do Chalice corals need?

Chalice corals generally prefer moderate lighting and gentle water flow. Too much direct flow can stress them. We recommend placing them in an area of your tank where they receive indirect light and a flow that gently moves their fleshy parts.

How do I know if my new Chalice coral frag will be compatible with my other corals?

Chalice corals are generally peaceful but can have a mild sting. It's best to give them some space from other corals, about 2-3 inches, to prevent potential aggression. While they are known for their unique colours, ensure they aren't placed too close to aggressive species.

What if my Chalice coral doesn't look as colourful when it arrives?

Corals can sometimes experience stress during shipping, which can temporarily affect their colouration. Once your Chalice coral settles into your tank's environment, and with proper lighting and stable water parameters, its vibrant colours should return. Patience is key!
